We are able to process new member applications again and welcome anyone who is interested, to contact us either through the contact form here or on Facebook
The Huntly Small Bore Rifle Club is an active Target Shooting club, shooting indoors through the winter and also outdoors in spring and summer. We would like to thank all the members who have maintained their connection with the club through the covid-19 restrictions and look forward to welcoming you all back to a more sociable shared atmosphere now that restrictions have been lifted.
Over the last few months we have had a number of new members join the club and we would all like to welcome you to HSBRC and look forward to getting to know you and help you develop your shooting.
Online booking system.
Without any legal constraints on us, we have set up the booking system for 5 firing points in each session. Other shooters are welcome to come to the club, although they should give precedence to those who have booked. Booking means that the Range Officers know there will be someone there; if no-one books, the Range Officer may decide not to open the club.
While there are no legal constraints, please still stay away if you have Covid-19 or another unpleasant infectious illness. It doesn’t make sense to share it around!
Outdoor Shooting
The summer season has started and we would like to encourage members to try shooting outdoors at 50m and 100yds. If you would like to take part, please contact one of the committee to find out when we can arrange to take equipment to the outdoor range for you to use.
